Finisher required in and around Barnsley to work in void properties on behalf of councils/housing associations. This scheme is a mixture of responsive repairs and kitchen and bathroom schemes.

The Client

Our client is an award winning sub contractor who specialises in regeneration projects and operates around the Yorkshire and Derbyshire regions.

The Role

Main duties are boxing in pipe work, corking, painting/decorating, silicone joints, attaching skirtings, plaster-patching, easing doors and replacing 2-3 tiles.

The total hours are 37.5 per week, 8am - 4:00pm with a 30 minute break - Monday to Friday. This contract is for 12 months work.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Finisher/Multi-Skilled Trades
• Social housing experience
• Own Tools
• Valid CSCS Card
• Own Transport
• UKATA Asbestos Awareness or be willing to take the online course
• Must be wiling to be clean shaven to be facefit tested
• You must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before.
