We're Hiring: Freelance Site Engineer
Location: Bradford
Sectors: Civils earthworks scheme
Day rate: £320 to £420 per day
Duration: Ongoing

We are hiring for Freelance Site Engineer's for an upcoming earthworks scheme in Bradford working on a Battery Energy Storage. The engineer would need to be comfortable with earthworks, volumes, calculations, 3D models.

Key Responsibilities of a Freelance Site Engineer:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day earthworks and civils activities ensuring works are completed safely and accurately in accordance to drawings and spec.
• Set out and monitor cut/fill levels, formation levels, platform levels, drainage etc
• Review drawings, spec, and 3D models
• Produce and maintain earthworks calculations
• Work closely with the CM, PM, and SM, alongside subcontractors
• Maintain accurate site records

Experience Required for the Freelance Site Engineer:

• Proven experience as a site engineer (earthworks)
• Strong setting out experience using modern surveying equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Experience working with subcontractors
• CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid (desriable not essential), engineering qualification.

Day rate/salary:

• Day rate flexible
• Weekly pay on a Friday
