Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure delivery for residential developments from feasibility through to site completion.
• Coordinate and secure all technical information, approvals, quotations and agreements and onsite service connections.
• Liaise with utility providers, consultants, local authorities, highways authorities and environmental agencies and warranty providers.
• Support the appointment and management of utility providers and external consultants.
• Review utility related legal agreements, easements and associated documentation in conjunction with external legal teams.
• Attend weekly prestart meetings, site meetings and project reviews to support programme delivery and performance.
• Ensure technical drawings and information are distributed accurately and in a timely manner to Construction, Commercial and Sales teams.
• Provide ongoing technical support and practical solutions to challenges arising across developments.
• Assist with feasibility studies and provide utility budget cost advise during the early stages of projects.
• Support compliance with CDM regulations and contribute to the safe and effective delivery of developments.

Experience

• Experience managing utility provision within residential housing or construction developments
• Experience and knowledge of CDM regulations and their applications within construction projects
• Proven experience as Engineer, Utilities Coordinator within housebuilding
• Experience managing technical documentation

• Strong project coordination and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple developments at one time
• Stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build and maintain effective relationships
• Able to communicate effectively
• Commercial awareness and the ability to consider cost implications when making recommendations and decisions
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills to secure timely approvals, quotations, agreements and service connections
• Commitment to Health & Safety and compliance standards, including an understanding of CDM Regulations
