Leading, managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely and in line with the construction programme.
Managing internal fit-out and finishing activities, including partitions, drylining, ceilings, doors, flooring, finishes and associated building services coordination.
Monitoring programme progress, identifying potential delays and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
Maintaining rigorous health, safety and environmental standards across all site activities.
Coordinating with design, engineering, commercial and planning teams to resolve technical and construction-related issues.
Driving quality assurance, inspections, snagging and timely close-out of works.
Managing subcontractor performance, productivity and resource allocation.
Ensuring all relevant site records, permits, inspections and quality documentation are maintained accurately.
Building strong working relationships with the client, consultants and wider project delivery team.
About You
We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong background in managing internal construction packages on large-scale, complex building projects.
You will be an organised and proactive leader who can take ownership of delivery, motivate site teams and maintain control of programme, quality and safety.
Ideally, you will demonstrate:
Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager within a Tier 1 or established main contractor environment.
A strong track record delivering internal construction, fit-out or finishing packages on large-scale projects.
Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing complex construction programmes.
Excellent knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing and quality management.
A strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and driving continuous improvement.
Relevant construction qualifications, SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS (Black/Managerial) are expected.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established, financially strong and ambitious construction business at an exciting stage of its growth.
You will be part of a major project with genuine scale and complexity, working alongside experienced construction professionals and contributing to a development of national importance.
For the right individual, this offers the opportunity to make a real impact, develop professionally and be part of a business that values its people and recognises strong performance.
