About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Construction Bid Writer to support our growing business with high-quality tender submissions, bids, proposals and pre-qualification questionnaires.

You will work closely with our estimating, commercial and management teams to turn project information into clear, compelling and professionally presented tender responses that demonstrate our experience, capability and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and prepare construction tender and bid submissions.

• Review tender documents and identify key requirements, deadlines and evaluation criteria.

• Write clear, persuasive and tailored responses to quality questions.

• Develop project-specific method statements, case studies and company information.

• Coordinate information from estimators, project managers and other team members.

• Ensure submissions accurately reflect our capabilities, experience and proposed approach.

• Proofread and quality-check bids before submission.

• Manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.

• Maintain consistency in tone, branding and messaging across submissions.

• Assist with improving our bid library, templates and standard responses
