About the Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and organised Trainee Project Manager to join us on a freelance basis and gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of projects from initial planning through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project management, develop practical experience, and work alongside experienced professionals across a range of projects.

You don't need years of project management experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.

The Role

As a Freelance Trainee Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects, working closely with clients, team members and other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with project planning, schedules and timelines.

• Coordinating tasks and following up on project actions.

• Communicating with clients, contractors and internal team members.

• Maintaining project documentation and progress reports.

• Monitoring deadlines, deliverables and project milestones.

• Helping identify and escalate potential issues or delays.

• Attending project meetings and taking clear action notes.

• Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day project administration.

• Helping ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.

• Gradually taking ownership of smaller projects and workstreams as your experience develops.
